About me

My name is Martin, I’m 28 years old and currently studying Engineering Science in the 4th trimester at Helmut-Schmidt-University in Hamburg. My path into engineering comes from a deep curiosity about how things work and how thoughtful design can solve real-world problems.

I was born in Erfurt and lived there until I was 20, but now I call Göttingen my home, where I live with my wife and our dog. Outside of my studies, I enjoy staying active through sports and spending time on creative projects — especially 3D design and printing. I enjoy combining technical skills with creativity, which fits perfectly with my interests in production engineering and modern manufacturing technologies.

This website is part of a student project for my production engineering course, where I share insights from my studies and showcase selected production techniques that connect theory and practice in engineering.
